Seems I had time anyway.....
ftp://sf:zip@misse.ath.cx:881/StrikeForce.zip
Note.
Should work just by unzip it in ur ut2004 dir. - but u have to fix the binarys and so on by ur self....
GL
Edit:
Server will be up today and maybe tomorrow night.
(down when Im gaming myself)
Hope it works =P
Edit 2:
If u use a ftp prog, make sure u are in Active mode
Seems Iv'e wrote the installation process a bit wrong =P but now it should be "better".

ok, once you get it, unzip it into the ut2004 dir (possibly fixing permissions???) and make a launcher (gnome, don't know about kde...) or script, pointing to the ut2004 start script and append this argument
should start the game with the nice flashy intro. Thing is, I can't actually get it to load a map. Might have to get onto other mod sites (Ihere death ball is good for linux stuff) and check for any little quirks.

appreciate that, but have dual boot, so copied files by the way, that start info came from teh linux gamers site, which may well hold the key to the problem, just got to go to work in 6 hours, and need some sleep..... |

I also got it to work in the manner i mentioned above. However, I downloaded ut2k4 3236 patch off icculus and then 3270 as well. After that the map loading time went from minutes to 20 -30 secs. I noticed a huge problem with Spitfire though, heaps and heaps of BSP holes feking up my vision, although I suspect this could have something to so with teh quality of the ATI drivers as well..... |
